This month's special quilt is a BOM that we did here at the quilt shop several years ago. It is an original creation of Marti's, celebrating the poets, writers, and other special people (even a doggy named Sally) from our American Civil War Era. Join Marti for a video collage that she and Mike created to commemorate these special people. Without them, we would not know what we know about the Civil War in America. The name of my quilt is "One Country, One Destiny". These words were quilted on the inside of the coat worn by Pres. Lincoln the night that he was assassinated.
We will be constructing Row E of our Harriet's Journey BOM this month.
